Hello,

After reviewing our records, we've determined that your AdSense account
poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a
responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due
to invalid activity, we've found it necessary to disable your AdSense

both be fully refunded to the affected advertisers.

Please understand that we need to take such steps to maintain the
effectiveness of Google's advertising system, particularly the
advertiser-publisher relationship. We understand the inconvenience that
this may cause you, and we thank you in advance for your understanding and
cooperation.

If you have any questions or concerns about the actions we've taken, how
you can appeal this decision or invalid activity in general, you can find

Is This Acceptable Behavior?

I was at a party last night. I was talking with my wife, her friend Lynn and a guy who recently got engaged to one of their friends. They were asking him about the proposal.  He said, "When I proposed her blue eyes turned almost pink. It was beautiful. It looked like a sunset." Lynn melted, Piper said "awwww," and I just stared blankly at him. I feel his behavior was unbefitting of a man.

Am I wrong?

The Social Network
(four months behind)
People always ask "what do you miss from the U.S?" Aside from family, friends, black people and respect for punctuality, materialistically (artistically), I really miss movies. Good, indie, foreign or mainstream, well-directed, well-acted, important, movies.

And tonight, I went to the premier of The Social Network. Now, for the next 48 hours I can thumb my nose at uninformed Costa Rican populace who are yet to see the movie, for I, an esteemed member of the national media, was granted access to the VIP Sneak Peek screening of the four month old movie.

Back in September, when this movie was released, I read a story about it in the New Yorker. http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2010/09/20/100920fa_fact_vargas

It made me not want to see the movie. Why? The writer of the book that this movie was based on "The Accidental Billionaires", never met nor interviewed Mark Zuckerberg. Neither did the screen-writer Alan Sorkin. The sources used for the book and movie were people who visciously loathed Zuckerberg and were suing him for millions.
Imagine if I met with everyone of Lee Portillo's worst enemies and then wrote a book about Lee Portillo based on what they said. Then, another guy who'd never met Lee Portillo, distorted my already distorted book and made a movie out of it. And then 47 million people saw it, and 46.85 million believed it.

Before I Rooney-rant again, this movie was great. Great dialogue, direction, acting, music. Well done.

Too bad it's most likely a fabricated sham.

There doesn't seem to be much concern for the source of information anymore. See it, hear it, read it, believe it.

1985.

i tried. i really tried. even the showbiz and sports news was lame. you know, we might be fucked, but, im optimistic as ever about what's over the horizon...

hard time finding butterflies, rainbows, pots of gold, and macaws, but there is some hilarity in the world, even if it is slightly dark out there... all links are brevity/levity conscientious; in other words, take next to no time out of your day, and may stir up a smile too.
