I wasn't sold until the bit about Guatemala. Meeting self-satisified kids who take four days trips to build a church in Central America and all wear the same Bible verse on the back of their green shirts in the airport can make for a pretty horrendous flight.
Also, if you are in the Peace Corp in a country that isn't 3rd world status (Haiti, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Memphis) please don't talk about how interesting you are. Anyone can build a bridge in two years time. Anyone.
