HAPPY MLK DAY CRACKAS
A) It's been a year since the Bachelor party, which included Faust throwing his best man through a chair, a memorable night at Cheeks, Portillo inviting his family, Williams thrashing down the slopes and moostaches. Seems like a long time ago. A lot has changed for everybody...

B) I volunteered at the MLK museum (where he was murdered) in Memphis for about 6 months. It was pretty cool and made you pretty disappointed to be white. Truth. It was tough. His Dream speech is the most well known, but I always thought Mountaintop was the most powerful.

Food for thought:

"What has violence ever accomplished? What has it ever created? No martyr's cause has ever been stifled by an assassin's bullet. No wrongs have ever been righted by riots and civil disorders. A sniper is only a coward, not a hero, and an uncontrolled or uncontrollable mob is only the voice of madness - not the voice of the people."

- RFK, after MLK was slain

I don't necessarily agree with it, but thought it was Blog worthy.

Also, if you worked on MLK and got off work for President's Day, I think something's wrong with that. If you worked both, man, bummer. If you worked neither, your name is probably Kevin Raldymple.

We are a fully operating commercial real estate company Williams, I do not work for myself... at least not yet. When I do, I will probably take most Mondays off.

We had the option of taking off either Presidents or MLK. Katie and I chose Presidents because we will already be out of town that weekend and that way we will not have to use a day off. Yes Williams, we have a limited number of days off per year.

Ha. I wondered how you'd take that little jab.

You're a good sport, and that's why I knew it wouldn't cause an uproar.

Anybody for a Mandance?

I would have freaked out and cried if you had said that to me.

MLK is awesome, but I think it is worth noting (with the exception of Jesus) there is no one man that people get off work to celebrate his life.

No one gets off for Columbus Day so don't use that one..

WE GOT COLUMBUS DAY OFF!!

Seriously. Apparently Columbus founded every country in Central America. The whole country shut down for good ol' Cristobal Colon (his Spainard name).

I'd also like to say that it appears the IC is recession-proof, as our number of posts leapt from 110 in 2008 to 123 in 2009.

Good work squad.

The jab didnt really make sense, at all. Especially coming from you. You obviously have no idea how commercial real estate works, without sales we dont get paid. And speaking of recessions, the real estate business is not recession proof, therefore working during a recession in real estate is an absolute must or else you do not make ANY money. Dick.

So I complimented you for not taking offense at a meaningless joke and then you respond angrily. Truly didn't see that coming.
I can feel the air being deflated out of the Blog...guess it's back to football videos.

I think I know how commercial real estate works. You make real commercials about estate sales.

I like commercials.
