Good move for the Cardinals, they didnt need to be locked up with him in an outrageous contract for 10 years. St. Louis does not need Albert Pujos, they will be just fine without him.. Miss him sure, but definitely still one of the best baseball towns without him.

I think it's a sad day for baseball. Certain players only belong on certain teams and its always uncomfortable to watch them play for someone else.

It's weird and sad and usually money-driven.
BUT, now that I think of it, there aren't many baseball players that only play in one town. Jeter and Mariano Rivera are all that come to mind. Maybe Michael Young, but he's not at retirement age yet.
